Mission Overview: The Conventional Prompt Strike Test Facility (CTF) contract supports the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD). We uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and fairness in our relationships with all stakeholders.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager responsible for overseeing site and office safety. The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Conduct project planning, including defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate project execution, monitor progress, and track key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate meetings with project teams and clients.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Effectively lead, develop, and mentor team members.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive team culture and environment.
  • Demonstrate strategic communication skills.
  • Effectively address various audience sizes and convey messages clearly.
  • Compose clear and concise written communications in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

· Possess strategic knowledge of daily project execution, including managing, coordinating, and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to ensure timely completion within budget while adhering to quality standards and client satisfaction.

· Previous experience in project management is essential.

· A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Essential Functions:

Physical Requirements: May involve lifting weights up to forty (40) pounds as necessary.

Work Environment: May include both indoor and outdoor tasks. Indoor environments may consist of cubicles (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Outdoor work may involve various environmental conditions, including warm and cold climates. Must collaborate effectively with colleagues and all levels of management. No unusual hazards or environmental conditions are present.

Equipment and Machines: Ability to operate office equipment such as personal computers, printers, copiers, telephones, fax machines, and other necessary tools. Must possess or be able to obtain heavy and light equipment licenses.

Attendance: Normal hours are Monday – Thursday between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm during flex weeks, and 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on non-flex weeks. Punctuality and regular attendance are crucial to meet deadlines. Flexibility in work hours is required to accommodate surge situations based on critical mission needs. Attendance is considered essential, with exceptions only for approved time off.

Other Essential Functions: Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when interacting with customers, management, and colleagues. Clear, concise, and accurate communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary. Grooming and attire must be appropriate for the position and not pose safety risks. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere through professional behavior and communication. Independent personal transportation to the office or work site is required. Travel (up to 20%) to customer locations and test sites may be necessary to support projects, which may involve airline travel. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, seat belts must be worn, and cellular devices must not be used while the vehicle is in motion.
