Key Responsibilities
  • Role Summary
    • The Site Program Security Assistant (PSA) Lead will deliver contractor security and program assistance to the Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO). The PSA Lead should possess comprehensive knowledge across key security domains, including Personnel, Physical, Logistical, Information Assurance, and Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA), in alignment with DoD guidelines. The PSA Lead will oversee the daily activities of assigned contractor personnel.
  • Program Security Assistant Duties
    • Review and document feedback on various security documents, including SOPs, OPSEC plans, and Security Test Plans.
    • Ensure that facility folders contain all necessary documentation, such as accreditation letters and System Security Plans.
    • Maintain personnel folders with required documents, including approved Program Access Requests and training records.
    • Assist with facility Site Assist Visits and compliance inspections, ensuring thorough and documented self-assessments.
    • Conduct security inquiries, documenting findings and recommendations to mitigate future occurrences.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program.
    • Manage a visitor control and badging system that complies with various security requirements.
    • Prepare and maintain courier credentials for the Program Office.
    • Act as the Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO) and oversee inventories of controlled materials.
    • Provide extensive security test support, including the creation of test plans and security objectives.
    • Be available for occasional domestic travel to fulfill security obligations.
    • Assess and implement security policies to safeguard classified information.
    • Support Document Control Officer (DCO) and Security Administrative Assistant (SAA) roles as necessary.
  • Site Lead Responsibilities
    • Ensure oversight authority for contract employees as a Site Lead.
    • Provide input on personnel evaluations and maintain records supporting these evaluations.
    • Document and track work absences and ensure proper communication regarding personnel issues.
    • Maintain an updated schedule of subcontractor working hours and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
    • Provide daily oversight to ensure all contract personnel fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
    • Keep management informed of ongoing challenges related to contractual obligations.
Qualifications
  • Education and Certifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • DAU Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) required within two years of hire.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of four years in a DoD Security environment.
  • Preferred Experience
    • Two years in a specialized classified environment.
    • Familiarity with security manuals and directives.
  • Security Clearance
    • Must possess U.S. citizenship and a final DoD TOP SECRET clearance.
