Position Overview

StepStone Hospitality Inc. is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to enhance our customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check-in and allocate rooms to guests.
  • Provide room keys and escort instructions to guests or Guest Service Agents.
  • Organize and monitor incoming correspondence.
  • Facilitate communication through various channels.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding hotel amenities, guest registration, and local attractions.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and pricing.
  • Calculate bills, process payments, and provide change to guests.
  • Handle reservations, including making, confirming, and canceling through all communication methods.
  • Post charges for room services, food, beverages, or telephone use to guest accounts when necessary.
  • Assist guests with transportation or entertainment bookings.
  • Safeguard guest valuables in the hotel safe.
  • Utilize various office software proficiently.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of each shift's responsibilities, including night audit tasks.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Familiarity with the Opera operating system is advantageous.
  • Proficient command of the English language for effective communication.
  • Ability to accurately relay information.
  • Willingness to assist with various administrative tasks as required.
  • Participation in mandatory meetings.
  • Commitment to completing projects and assignments with professionalism and thoroughness.
  • Capability to adapt to high-pressure situations and embrace change.
  • Accountability for personal growth and development.
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills.
  • Relevant experience and additional education are preferred.
  • CPR and first aid certifications are a plus.
