Job Overview

Power-Flo Technologies Inc. is a premier distributor of electrical solutions. As a Sales Specialist at our Rochester location, you will deliver exceptional sales support and customer service to a designated customer base while actively seeking new business avenues. Collaboration with various departments, outside sales, and vendors will be essential to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.
  • Educate potential and existing clients about product features and advantages.
  • Establish and maintain enduring relationships with both new and existing clients within a specified sales region.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients in the assigned sales territory.
  • Consistently achieve or surpass sales goals by promoting company products to new and existing clients.
  • Develop and present compelling sales proposals to encourage purchases and repeat business.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Formulate and execute an effective sales strategy to enhance sales performance.
  • Keep precise records of all leads, customer accounts, and sales activities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility through the creation of effective marketing materials.
  • Analyze competitors' offerings and market conditions.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends by participating in meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
  • Negotiate strategically with clients to finalize sales.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction and contractor services is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Strong consultative sales abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • Outstanding customer service orientation.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Possession of a valid and clean NYS Driver's License for travel to clients and vendors.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary Range: $40,000 - $49,500 annual base salary plus commission.
