Behavior Specialist

Job Summary: As a key member of the Lifetime Assistance Inc. team, the Behavior Specialist - Business Analyst will provide critical psychological services and consultation to individuals, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for assigned individuals, adhering to established timeframes and formats.
- Collaborate with team members to develop personalized goals, objectives, and methods to address psychological needs.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of affective/emotional data, ensuring accurate and timely completion of data sheets.
- Provide expert consultation and information to the team, volunteers, and other service providers as needed, including transportation and accompaniment to community providers.
- Deliver crisis intervention services to prevent harm to individuals and others, as outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
- Develop and lead in-service training sessions on psychological services for agency staff.
- Ensure Human Rights and Informed Consent are secured for each individual's Behavior Support Plan and medication use, as required.
- Attend agency and staff meetings, education, and training sessions as requested, staying informed on industry developments.
- Monitor and document individual performance and behaviors to inform assessment and goal development, collaborating with team members to create personalized futures plans.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including incident handling, emergency response, and agency vehicle operation, providing feedback to supervisory staff on individual or facility concerns.
- Offer written and/or oral feedback to supervisory staff regarding individual or facility-related concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
