About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at FitzMark. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing a pipeline of prospective transportation opportunities with shippers across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new sales opportunities through cold-calling, emailing, and networking
  • Gain insight into the organization and processes of prospects or customers to optimize the best approach to provide solutions
  • Prepare pricing, rate negotiations, and transportation bids in a timely manner
  • Support the development of existing and new customers across all means of transportation
  • Collaborate internally with the carrier operations department and account management team to ensure best-in-class service
Requirements
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
  • Minimum 1-year sales experience preferred
