This role requires onsite work in Indianapolis.

The Business Development Representative will play a key role in expanding our client base by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective clients.

You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for generating leads and nurturing relationships that lead to successful sales outcomes.

What You'll Do

Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, networking, and industry events.

Outbound Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients via phone calls, emails, social media, and other outreach methods to introduce ML Talent Strategies services and generate interest.

Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.

Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers and influencers within target organizations, positioning ML Talent Strategies as a trusted partner.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies, share insights on lead quality, and support the overall sales process.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system, ensuring a clear trail of communication and follow-up actions.

Reporting: Provide regular updates on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and key metrics to the sales leadership team.

Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and the latest developments in fractional HR services, ensuring you can effectively communicate the value proposition to prospects.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role (preferably within the business services industry).

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Comfortable making cold calls and engaging with senior-level decision-makers.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

A proactive and positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow in the sales field.
