Position Summary

We are in search of a meticulous and organized Billing and Accounts Receivable Coordinator to become a vital part of our finance team. The successful candidate will oversee the complete billing cycle, ensuring precision and promptness in invoice generation, payment tracking, and discrepancy resolution. This role demands an individual with a keen eye for detail, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and issue invoices with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Monitor and document all payments and financial transactions.
  • Conduct account reconciliations to verify that all payments are accounted for and correctly recorded.
  • Identify and rectify billing discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Maintain and update customer records, including contact details and billing information.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide assistance to customers regarding billing inquiries and payment arrangements.
  • Prepare regular reports and summaries of billing activities.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant financial regulations.
  • Additional Month-End Duties:
    • Engage in month-end closing processes, including preparing and posting journal entries.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly account reconciliations and financial statements.
    • Analyze and report on variances and adjustments made during the month-end process.
    • Coordinate with various teams to collect and verify financial data for month-end reporting.
    • Ensure all month-end tasks are completed accurately and within established deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Desires a healthy work-life balance.
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Has prior experience as an AR/Billing Specialist or in a comparable role.
  • Is proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excels in effective communication and interpersonal interactions.
