A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST
In this role, you will begin each day prepared to ensure timely payments of invoices and the accuracy of all financial records. Your responsibilities will include tracking outstanding balances, preparing invoices, and maintaining updated records. You will reach out to members regarding overdue payments and utilize your strong communication skills to uphold our financial integrity.
Your daily tasks will involve independent bookkeeping and meticulous record-keeping. You will review accounts for discrepancies, process various transactions, and maintain organized files for collections. You will also assess when to escalate issues related to delinquent accounts and generate reports on billing activities using precise data.
In addition to your bookkeeping duties, you will engage with members at the front desk and via phone, ensuring they are informed about any outstanding balances. You will handle credit card payments and address inquiries regarding invoices, employing your training and empathy to resolve any billing disputes amicably.
While you enjoy the accuracy of bookkeeping, you also appreciate the opportunity to interact with people and tackle a variety of tasks throughout your workday. QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant Experience
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Basic mathematical skills
Any collections experience is a plus. Are you organized, capable of multitasking, and detail-oriented? Do you possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal? If you are self-motivated and can work independently while handling confidential information discreetly, you may be an excellent fit for this position.
WORK SCHEDULE OPPORTUNITIES
- PART-TIME: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm ($16.50/hour)
