About the Role

DIRECTV is seeking a seasoned Account Executive to join our Ad Sales organization. A successful candidate must be a strategic leader, effective communicator, and a deep understanding of the media ecosystem, including linear, addressable, and digital inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on account management, driving new business, and overseeing a pipeline of leading East Coast-based clients within the Pharmaceutical, Insurance, and Technology sectors.
  • Organize client meetings and conduct sales calls to build a sales pipeline to meet quarterly targets.
  • Build lasting client relationships and meet customer needs.
  • Design and implement strategic plans that solve for marketplace challenges and help achieve revenue targets across all DIRECTV platforms, including linear, addressable, and digital.
  • Foster a collaborative culture and build strong relationships with cross-functional internal stakeholders, including Agency sales, Digital sales, Marketing, Business Analytics, Finance, and Pricing & Planning.
  • Utilize knowledge of the relevant media and marketing landscape and key competitors to identify and develop DIRECTV's unique differentiators.
  • Stay up-to-date on vertical trends and apply this knowledge to category-specific sales materials.
  • Represent DIRECTV at industry events and thought leadership opportunities to build the DIRECTV brand and knowledge of our leading solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with a minimum of 6 years of Media/Sales experience.
  • Experience within the Pharmaceutical category is a requirement.
  • Proven ability to establish longstanding, consultative client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate with C-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
What We Offer

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The Base Salary range for this position is $154,905 - $232,415. Please note that this range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus or benefits.
