Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues related to their accounts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document all internal and external inquiries, including patient and third-party payer interactions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients and third-party payers, providing clear and concise information about their accounts.
  • Root cause issues and attempt to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex issues to management for assistance and resolution.
  • Communicate resolution of issues to patients and third-party payers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Work closely with internal departments to investigate and resolve issues related to patient accounts.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of our revenue cycle system and patient accounting system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of customer service experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with customer service and revenue cycle processes.
