Job Title: Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPB) Support Analyst

We're seeking an experienced Oracle EPB Support Analyst to join our Business Finance team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the day-to-day maintenance and deployment of our existing EPB application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Support: Manage and support existing EPBCS applications throughout month-end and forecast cycles, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Business Requirements: Gather and analyze business requirements for new features or enhancements, design and develop functionalities, and implement modifications while configuring and customizing EPBCS to meet evolving business needs.
  • Data Management: Manage data loads, integrations, and ensure data quality for planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, collaborating cross-functionally with ERP and HR systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize EPBCS application performance by tuning calculations, business rules, and data loads, conducting regular performance reviews, and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Documentation and Training: Document EPBCS system configurations, processes, and procedures, provide end-user training and guidance on effective use of functionalities, and create user manuals and training materials for new features.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure data confidentiality and compliance by managing security roles, permissions, and controls within EPBCS, and protect against unauthorized access to sensitive information.
  • Change Management: Coordinate change requests and release cycles for EPBCS applications, conduct impact assessments for smooth deployment into production environments, and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders and end-users.
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Collaborate with Oracle support teams or third-party vendors for issue resolution and escalation, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within EPBCS.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Oracle EPM suite, including Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
  • EPB Cloud Experience: 5+ years of EPB Cloud experience with Financials (Expenses, Revenue, Capex, Workforce, Project) modules.
  • Data Integration: Proficiency in data integration tools and techniques (e.g., FDMEE, Data Management, Data Exchange, Pipeline).
  • Oracle Hyperion Essbase: Strong proficiency of Oracle Hyperion Essbase concepts (ASO, BSO, Calculation Scripts, Load Rules).
  • Data Integration from Enterprise Systems: Experience with data integration from other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP SAP, Workday, Databricks), validating and reconciling data to ensure integrity and accuracy.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Experience and proficiency in the creation of reports in Oracle Smart View, Financial reporting, and Narrative reporting.
  • Stakeholder Support: Support stakeholders during month-end close activities and forecast/Budget cycles.
  • Ticketing System: Proficient in using ticketing systems to log and monitor support tickets, escalate complex issues as necessary, and maintain clear communication with users regarding the status of their requests.
  • System Enhancements and Process Improvements: Demonstrated capability to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, actively participate in testing and validation of new features, and stay current with the latest Oracle EPM best practices and monthly updates.
