Position Summary

The Healthcare Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in managing daily operational functions while providing essential support for various projects and initiatives. This position is responsible for overseeing provider schedules, managing electronic medical record (EMR) templates, and collecting data for ongoing projects and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain schedule blocks for healthcare providers and nurse practitioners with a minimum of 60 days' advance planning.
  • Ensure accurate management of all provider schedules within the EMR system, eliminating discrepancies.
  • Regularly review and update schedules, including tracking vacation requests.
  • Implement requested changes to EMR templates promptly and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  • Gather and organize various data in a systematic and report-ready format.
  • Identify potential issues and take immediate corrective actions, escalating when necessary.
  • Streamline operational tasks to minimize errors and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with leadership, providers, and staff regarding operational matters, changes, and updates.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in operations is preferred. Candidates should have experience in developing and maintaining office systems, with a strong ability to adapt to new software quickly. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals are essential. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate accurate data entry skills. Flexibility is also a key requirement.
