Position Summary:

ACS is in search of a Senior Systems Engineer to spearhead initiatives by employing a multidisciplinary approach to resiliency requirements engineering. This role encompasses the development of resiliency solutions, project scheduling, reliability assessments, services development, integration, testing and evaluation, maintainability, and comprehensive analysis across various national and allied geospatial intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the government in daily GEOINT resiliency tasks, including the review and development of operational and functional requirements, system context diagrams, and related documentation.
  • Guide requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and reliability assessments across national and allied geospatial intelligence systems.
  • Evaluate proposed changes and their impacts, including technical architectures and documentation.
  • Develop reference architectures, implementation plans, and process flows to enhance COOP/Resiliency and GEOINT operations.
  • Assist in refining the understanding of Mission Essential Functions (MEF) to prioritize resiliency analysis.
  • Participate in integrated product teams and working groups to support program business plans and schedules.
  • Facilitate government meetings, ensuring proper documentation and security measures are in place.
  • Contribute to system and risk management documentation for Mission Assurance/Resiliency program activities.
  • Oversee system security for multiple sites, ensuring compliance with current DoD and ODNI requirements.
  • Engage in GEOINT Resiliency and Mission Assurance planning and exercises.
  • Assist in the execution of Mission Thread Analysis (MTA) to identify necessary tools and systems.
  • Lead Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) and Engineering Assessments related to resiliency capabilities.
  • Provide expert guidance in strategic technical planning, project management, and risk management.
  • Coordinate the work of various levels of contractor Systems Engineers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related technical fields, or equivalent expert-level experience.
  • Extensive experience in government or industry, particularly in DoD/IC Acquisition Process and systems engineering of complex systems.
  • Proven experience in agency-level resiliency activities and the systems engineering lifecycle.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and relevant tools.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Frameworks and cloud-based technologies.
  • Background in geospatial intelligence and related fields.

Education Qualifications:

Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related technical fields, or equivalent expert-level experience.
