This position is essential for ensuring the precision and timeliness of geospatial intelligence across various federal and allied agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor mid-level and junior engineers in the domains of requirements analysis, solution development, and systems integration.
  • Oversee the planning and traceability of user requirements and system architectures, while enhancing existing systems and evaluating cloud service capabilities.
  • Guide the design of solutions based on thorough analysis of requirements and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with government entities to translate mission needs into actionable systems and capability requirements.
  • Support the allocation of requirements to system architecture components and program execution.
  • Conduct systems integration tasks and perform analyses of alternatives, trade studies, and engineering assessments.
  • Assist in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, and risk management.
  • Integrate multiple systems and processes across various organizational boundaries within major system acquisitions.
Qualifications and Experience:

Essential Education and Experience:
  • 12 to 18 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related technical field such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Extensive experience in government or industry, particularly in systems engineering for complex systems or service-oriented architectures.
  • Proficient understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate data-driven decision-making through real-time performance insights.
  • 5-7 years of experience in dashboard development and data visualization using Tableau.
  • 5-7 years of experience in data architecture and analysis.
  • Certifications in Tableau and other Business Intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools and Agile practices.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge of Digital Engineering processes and Software Development Frameworks.
  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
  • Experience in geospatial intelligence.
  • Professional engineering licensure.
  • Active participation in relevant professional organizations.
  • Expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, and geographic information systems.
  • Understanding of current geospatial intelligence enterprises.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess an active TS SCI clearance and be willing to undergo a polygraph examination if required.
