Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Systems Architect, you will play a crucial role in the following areas:

  • Support the government in the daily management of GEOINT resiliency tasks, including the assessment, creation, and validation of program and NGA documentation such as operational requirements and system context diagrams.
  • Guide the requirements engineering and solutions development processes, ensuring reliability and resiliency across various systems.
  • Evaluate proposed modifications and their implications on technical architectures and documentation.
  • Develop reference architectures and implementation strategies that enhance continuity of operations and resiliency.
  • Facilitate a deeper understanding of Mission Essential Functions (MEF) to prioritize resiliency analysis.
  • Engage in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups to contribute to program business plans and schedules.
  • Organize and document government meetings, ensuring appropriate media and document security.
  • Provide expertise in system security oversight and recommend policies in line with current requirements.
  • Participate in GEOINT Resiliency and Mission Assurance exercises.
  • Assist in the analysis and allocation of requirements to system architecture components.
  • Support the execution of Mission Thread Analysis (MTA) and identify necessary tools and systems.
  • Lead Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) and engineering assessments related to resiliency capabilities.
  • Advise on strategic technical planning, project management, and risk management.
  • Coordinate the efforts of Senior, Mid, and Junior-level Systems Engineers.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • A Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent expert-level experience.
  • Extensive experience in government or industry, particularly in DoD/IC Acquisition Processes and systems engineering.
  • Proven experience in agency-level resiliency activities.
  • Familiarity with the systems engineering lifecycle.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
  • Background in geospatial intelligence and cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience with automation and artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Familiarity with the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
  • Expertise in photogrammetry and geographic information systems.
