We are seeking a highly skilled Channel Solutions Engineer to join our team at Talkdesk. As a Channel Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Channel network by delivering consistent experiences that align with and support our sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our Channel network of Master/Sub Agents, Resellers, Strategic Alliance Partners, and ISV Partners to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs and drive business results.
- Engage with and support business partners across complex product and project areas, providing guidance and consulting to help them achieve their strategic objectives.
- Nurture and maintain strong, positive working relationships with Channel account teams and senior-level executives, both within Talkdesk and externally.
- Provide technical expertise and support to Channel partners, helping them to implement Talkdesk solutions and drive customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver educational training for our Channel partners, working closely with internal teams in Sales, Product, Professional Services, and Customer Support.
- Take ownership of the technical relationship with our Channel, proactively managing and delivering technical information to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
- Responsible for all current and roadmapped technical solutions, competitive differentiators, and Channel knowledge to accurately represent and promote Talkdesk.
- Conduct technical solution demonstrations and develop materials to accelerate Channel and customer acquisition.
- Represent Talkdesk at field events, such as conferences and seminars.
- Recommend partner infrastructure improvements, such as partner portal and marketing collateral, based on Channel needs.
- Provide feedback to the product team on partners' requests for product enhancements.
- 4-8+ years of experience in a Partner Channel role, preferably in a CRM, hosted contact center, VoIP/Telecommunications company, or similar technology.
- Proven success in selling to Enterprise and Mid-Market executives, with a strong ability to convince C-level and director-level executives of the technical merits of the software solution.
- Familiarity with Master and Sub Agencies in the CCaaS / UCaaS space is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Broad understanding of the contact or call center market.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation, and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proficiency in using hosted contact center applications is a plus.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet business requirements with technical solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Customer Service Software, ITSM, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence is a plus.
- Creative and passionate about partnering, with exceptional ability to develop relationships.
This role will primarily be office-environment work, with extended periods of sitting or standing, and computer-based work. Limited lifting and equipment usage will be required.
