Job Overview

Position Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Information Technology Systems Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating, designing, and implementing IT systems and solutions tailored to the operational needs of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to comprehend user requirements, evaluate system capabilities, and propose technical solutions that enhance efficiency, functionality, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Analysis:
    • Engage with stakeholders to collect, document, and analyze business needs and system objectives.
    • Facilitate interviews, workshops, and surveys to assess current workflows and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
    • Articulate and document comprehensive system requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  2. System Design:
    • Convert business needs into technical specifications and system design documentation.
    • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
    • Participate in the design and development of new systems, enhancements, and integrations.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Create and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify system functionality and performance.
    • Conduct system integration testing (SIT) and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
    • Identify and rectify issues, bugs, and discrepancies during testing and implementation phases.
  4. Deployment:
    • Work with IT teams to strategize and execute system deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
    • Ensure seamless transition and integration of new systems into existing infrastructure and business processes.
    • Provide support and troubleshooting assistance during system implementation and post-implementation phases.
  5. Ongoing Support:
    • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
    • Deliver continuous support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for systems and applications.
    • Address and resolve user inquiries, incidents, and service requests related to IT systems.
  6. Documentation and Training:
    • Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and process documentation.
    • Provide training and support to end-users on system functionality, usage, and best practices.
    • Ensure documentation is updated in accordance with system changes, enhancements, and configurations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience as an IT Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role in IT systems development and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to comprehend complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Proficient in system analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and documentation practices.
  • Experience with system design, development lifecycle, and software testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networks, databases, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
