The Lead Financial Systems Consultant is vital in refining financial workflows and systems to boost productivity and facilitate strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and document financial system specifications, ensuring they align with organizational needs and compliance standards.
  • Set up and sustain financial systems and applications, including ERP and financial reporting solutions.
  • Design and execute processes and protocols to guarantee data accuracy and system reliability.
  • Work in conjunction with finance and IT departments to diagnose and resolve system challenges, ensuring minimal impact on financial operations.
  • Perform system testing and validation to confirm that new features and updates fulfill user expectations.
  • Offer support and training to end-users regarding financial systems and applications.
  • Monitor system functionality and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create and manage financial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to aid in financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to oversee system upgrades, enhancements, and support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial systems analysis, financial technology, or a comparable role.
  • Deep understanding of financial systems, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and financial reporting tools.
  • Expertise in system configuration, data analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate system issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management and system implementation is advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Certification in financial systems or related fields is preferred (e.g., CPA, CISA).
