About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join The Clorox Company as a Senior Director, Category Sales Strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying national, cross-channel customer strategies and business plans to drive category growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy national, cross-channel customer strategies and business plans to drive category growth.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Sales Planning team to frame acceptable ranges of outcomes and manage risks and opportunities.
  • Own customer input to deliver 3-year LRP sufficiency, including collaborating with the Innovation team to generate, sequence, and develop innovation pipelines.
  • Manage functional input, work chartered, and drive execution of full scope NRM plans, including strategic pricing and national reduced revenue funding plan development and deployment.
  • Own the development and deployment of one national 12-18 month customer plan.
  • Minimize forecast error and improve financial planning via IBP, coaching, developing, and empowering team members as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Typically 10+ years of CPG experience.
  • ~25% Travel.
  • Significant Clorox/equivalent BU and Customer (preferably LER) experience.
  • Proficiency in People Management.
  • Sr. Leadership Communication/Influence.
  • Cross Functional Knowledge/Influence.
  • Financial Acumen.
  • Knowledgeable in innovation processes, S&OP/OE, Sales analytics tools (IRI, Panel, Rapid), Categories/Brands, Retail Marketplace, Category Selling and Negotiation, Customer Business Planning.

Workplace Type:

This role will have a preference for being Oakland, CA based and report into the office 3x per week, Hybrid 2.0 policy. Open to experienced and qualified candidates within Clorox Hub locations.
