The Customer Service Representative will be the primary point of contact for members and potential members of Telhio Credit Union. This individual will represent the credit union's image during all interactions and create a welcoming environment for members.
Key Responsibilities- Process member and non-member transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments.
- Inform members about products and services, and promote credit union offerings.
- Cross-sell credit union products by answering inquiries and directing customers to relevant representatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with members, providing exceptional service and financial guidance.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect credit union operations by keeping information secure.
- Balance cash drawers accurately and comply with credit union operations and security procedures.
- Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors to support branch operations.
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience.
- Previous banking experience is a plus.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong organizational skills to provide a high level of accuracy on all transactions.
- Possess a team-oriented attitude and professionalism at all times.
- Strong computer/PC skills and ability to operate standard office machines.
- High School graduate or G.E.D.
- Ability to pass a background check, including credit, drug screen, bondability, and criminal background checks.
