About the Role

The Hotel Front Desk Supervisor is a key position at Sojourn Suites PDX, responsible for leading the front desk team and ensuring excellent guest experiences. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Front Desk Team: Supervise front desk staff, train new employees, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Coordinate front desk activities, manage online and phone reservations, and ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes.
  • Guest Service: Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Revenue Growth: Analyze rate variance, monitor credit reports, and optimize room revenue and occupancy.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: A.A. associate degree or 2+ years in related experience or field, 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience, and strong computer skills.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to apply common sense, empathy, and understanding to carry out instructions and provide delegation to staff, and good understanding of property management software (PMS).
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year. Benefits include employee benefits, career growth opportunities, dental, vision, medical, PTO, 401k, holidays, flexible scheduling, and competitive pay.
