Medical Support Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Support Specialist to join our team at US Derm Support Roles. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and documenting vital information
- Scribing information for the dermatologist
- Providing post-op wound care to patients
- Drawing blood and suture removal
- Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, and more
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-high school education in a medical support field (Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse is strongly preferred)
- 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
