ROLE SUMMARY:

The Chief Financial Officer is accountable for directing the financial operations, contributing to the strategic vision of the organization, and advising on continuous enhancements of financial performance, including budget variances and forecast reporting.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the Accounting departments and manage the prioritization and planning processes.
  • Set both short-term and long-term objectives aligned with the strategic plan.
  • Provide advisory support to the President on all accounting-related matters and across the organization.
  • Engage in all aspects of strategic planning and policy implementation.
  • Collaborate with Vontier's corporate finance, legal, and insurance teams on risk management.
  • Assist in making significant credit decisions.
  • Oversee financial audits, internal audits, tax filings, and CPA financial statement preparation.
  • Design and implement effective internal controls for accounting practices.
  • Ensure precise financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Manage accounts receivable collections and strive to minimize net working capital.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct forecasting in accordance with Vontier's requirements for revenue, profit, and working capital.
  • Review and authorize all capital expenditures to ensure optimal financial value.
QUALIFICATIONS:

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Possesses 10-15 years of relevant experience in finance.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) or equivalent from an accredited institution; 10-15 years of experience in the field or a comparable combination of education and experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

MBA

  • To excel in this role, familiarity with accounting software, database management, internet applications, payroll systems, human resources systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software is essential.
