Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Senior Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and uphold the safety standards of our fleet. This role is crucial within our Maintenance department, where you will oversee routine maintenance operations for our aircraft and those of our clients.

As a key member of our second-shift team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the operational readiness of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, your duties will include:

• Leading the second shift maintenance crew and contributing to our safety and maintenance initiatives.
• Conducting routine maintenance and performing troubleshooting and repairs to minimize disruption to flight schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Working on a diverse fleet that includes various aircraft models.
• Demonstrating technical proficiency in aircraft maintenance.
• Performing scheduled inspections independently.
• Ensuring all aircraft are flight-ready prior to departure.
• Conducting operational checks as required.
• Sourcing parts from external suppliers.
• Providing daily updates on maintenance activities, aircraft status, and time records.
• Liaising with flight crews regarding aircraft conditions.
• Mentoring and training junior mechanics as necessary.

Qualifications:
We seek an experienced Aircraft Mechanic who is adept at working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. The ideal candidate will possess:

• An FAA A&P Mechanics License.
• A minimum of 2 years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge and proven experience in maintaining aircraft for safe operations.
• Strong mechanical skills for equipment inspection, issue identification, and minor repairs.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with supervisors, line service, parts personnel, pilots, and dispatch.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows applications, particularly Excel for reporting and communication.
• Familiarity with specific aircraft models is highly desirable.
