Special Education Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality instruction and support to students with special needs.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
- Provide differentiated instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, documenting achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
- Utilize a range of instructional techniques, materials, and resources to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Implement assistive technology and adaptive equipment as needed to facilitate student participation and independence.
- Monitor and address students' social-emotional development, behavior management, and self-regulation skills.
- A Master's degree in Special Education is preferred.
- A valid teaching certificate or credential in Special Education is required.
- Familiarity with IEPs and the ability to develop and implement them effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
