QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Valid Registered Nurse License in Virginia; Master’s degree in Nursing preferred, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing with ongoing Master’s studies. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care nursing for Adult Health Practicum or 2 years in psychiatric/mental health nursing. Relevant professional experience is also considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Clinical Nursing Instructor, you will engage in teaching responsibilities for the undergraduate nursing curriculum, with a maximum of 9 credit hours per semester. Responsibilities may include:
In-person instruction/clinical practiceUndergraduateNURS 304 A - Fundamentals Practicum; NURS 320/420 A - Adult Health Practicum I/II; NURS 323 A - Psychosocial NursingPOSITION DETAILS: Instructors are contracted on a per-course basis. Compensation is based on educational qualifications.
