Monitor and Address Social-Emotional DevelopmentRegularly monitor and address students' social-emotional development, behavior management, and self-regulation skills. Develop and implement strategies to support students in developing essential life skills and coping mechanisms.
Qualifications- Master's Degree in Special Education
A Master's degree in Special Education or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field may be considered with relevant experience.
Valid Teaching Certificate or CredentialA valid teaching certificate or credential in Special Education is required. Candidates must be certified to teach in the state where the position is located.
Familiarity with IEPs and Assistive TechnologyCandidates must have familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the ability to develop and implement them effectively. Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment is highly desirable.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal SkillsCandidates must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff. The ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively is essential for success in this role.
