Key Responsibilities- Registration and Scheduling: Accurately register patients, including inputting demographic and insurance information into our ERAD system, and verifying the accuracy of existing information.
- Patient Communication: Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner, explain forms to patients, and assist with form completion as needed.
- Payment Processing: Collect patient payments, explain benefits, and reconcile payments using the Daily Reconciliation Report.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare paperwork for future appointments, maintain confidentiality, and participate in front office training to stay up-to-date on policies and procedures.
- Education: High School diploma required.
- Experience: Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of cash handling, medical terminology, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
