Production Equipment Specialist

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator for our 2nd shift operations.
Compensation begins at $21.50 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:
The Machine Operator is accountable for ensuring safety, quality, and productivity, while effectively optimizing machinery across various production areas. This role requires collaboration with team members to identify challenges and implement solutions aimed at enhancing productivity.
- Consistently produce parts and products that meet established quality standards.
- Utilize gauges and tools to monitor quality effectively.
- Make minor adjustments as needed, following the work center's task list and process guidelines.
- Support continuous operations in line with production schedules.
- Maximize machine efficiency and throughput, seeking assistance for equipment issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve collective goals.
- Provide training and support to colleagues, including integrating temporary staff into operations.
- Participate in problem identification and propose improvements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Accurately record and communicate work-related data.
- Assist in various operational tasks as required to meet production demands.
Qualifications:
Experience with micrometers or hand calipers is preferred.
Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Mechanical aptitude is required.
A High School Diploma or GED is necessary, along with 1-2 years of experience in a mechanical field.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and apply that knowledge practically.
Must work safely and promote safety awareness among peers.
Self-motivated individuals who can work independently with minimal supervision are encouraged to apply.
