Position Overview:
This is a FULL TIME role requiring flexibility to work a mix of weekdays, evenings, and a Saturday rotation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing lawn and garden machinery, while also facilitating parts orders.
  • Engage with customers on the sales floor to understand their needs and recommend appropriate power equipment and parts.
  • Process payments for parts and equipment transactions using various payment methods.
  • Handle incoming calls for the division, providing assistance as needed.
  • Stay informed about new product releases and vendor offerings to better serve customers.
  • Guide customers through financing options available through equipment vendors.
  • Manage service orders for customers dropping off or picking up power equipment for repairs, ensuring accurate updates in customer files.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding the drop-off or pick-up of items requiring sharpening or tire repairs.
  • Conduct monthly follow-ups with customers who have made power equipment purchases to gather feedback and address any concerns.
  • Maintain a spreadsheet to track customer satisfaction and feedback.
  • On a seasonal basis, reach out to customers for equipment servicing, including scheduling for snowblowers and other machinery.
  • Assist in performing monthly and yearly inventory counts for parts and whole goods to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess knowledge of internet software, inventory management software, and Excel spreadsheet applications.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds and the capacity to remain on feet for extended periods.
