Quality Assurance Specialist - Temp to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of products (such as electronics) at various stages of production, ensuring adherence to the company's quality standards. Document any non-conforming materials and their rework during the manufacturing process.
  • Analyze and interpret technical documents, including drawings and specifications, to understand the quality requirements for manufactured products.
  • Inspect various products (including cables, circuit cards, assemblies, and systems) for compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Perform initial inspections as necessary.
  • Utilize precision instruments, including microscopes and standard measuring tools, to carry out inspections. Verify all necessary documentation and collaborate with Quality Engineers to address non-conforming materials and identify defect trends. Accurately document defects through data entry into company systems.

Qualifications:

  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic understanding of technical drawing interpretation and experience with standard measuring tools
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in computer usage
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and maintain focus during extended periods of inspection
  • Strong mathematical skills
