Job Description

This position requires a highly motivated and organized individual to oversee the daily operations of a 51-unit market-rate community in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have experience in multifamily property management, including team oversight and property operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily property walks to maintain curb appeal and identify potential issues.
  2. Approve and maintain accurate timecards for office and maintenance staff members.
  3. Focus on resident retention and maintain high occupancy rates.
  4. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote the company and property.
  5. Monitor and manage revenue and expenses, preparing regular reports for upper management.
  6. Collect rent dues in a timely manner and manage contract obligations.
  7. Coordinate all move-in/move-out related activities and documents.
  8. Train and develop team members, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  9. Oversee contractors and vendors working on the property, ensuring work completion meets American Property Management's quality standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in multifamily property management, including team oversight and property operations.
  • Proven track record of success in resident retention and occupancy rates.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation:

  • $82,500 per year.
  • Bonus incentives include monthly leasing bonuses and quarterly bonuses.
  • Potential reimbursement for moving expenses up to $2,500 for out-of-state applicants.
