Job Overview

Plymouth Housing Group seeks a skilled Housing Services Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the well-being of residents and maintaining high-quality service delivery.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working with homeless and low-income individuals, including those living with mental and physical illnesses, chemical dependency/addictions, disabilities, HIV/AIDS. A valid Washington State Driver License and insurable driving record are also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Resident Plans: Collaborate with residents to create comprehensive Housing Service Plans, addressing transition needs and long-term housing stability goals.
  • Provide Supportive Services: Assist residents in accessing resources, scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, and accompanying them to appointments as needed.
  • Crisis Intervention and Conflict Resolution: Intervene in crises, respond to emergencies, and initiate action while focusing on harm reduction and trauma-informed care principles.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend scheduled supervision and team meetings to discuss resident issues and program goals. Practice a cooperative work approach and promote teamwork among coworkers and community partners.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid organizational and time management skills, and self-motivation.
  • Able to develop and sustain successful relationships with tenants, community agencies, and resources.

Earn $34.35 per hour
