At Front, we're looking for a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accounting Manager. As a key member of our finance team, you'll play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of the month-end close process, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Provide oversight and review of core accounting operations, including technical accounting, equity, international accounting, accounts payable, and procurement.
  • Manage, develop, and coach a strong team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Optimize existing systems and help design planned integrations to scale operations and accelerate our month-end close timeline.
  • Own our annual financial statement audit with a Big 4 firm, serving as a key liaison with auditors and external consultants, and managing the drafting of the annual financial statements.
  • Perform technical accounting research and prepare/review technical memorandums that document issues and conclusions in a clear, logical, and comprehensive manner.
  • Help build and maintain a comprehensive policy and procedures manual for all accounting and financial reporting functions.
  • Establish strong relationships with cross-functional peers, becoming a change agent for implementing new insights and process improvements with an eye towards internal controls.
Requirements:
  • CPA with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a management role. Public accounting experience is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation, with SaaS accounting and industry knowledge a plus.
  • Proficiency in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing the accounting tech stack. NetSuite experience required, with Airbase, Carta, FloQast, and/or CapIQ experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across functions and levels throughout the company.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with big-picture strategic understanding.
