Senior Accountant Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity that offers a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise accounting analysts and ensure the timely completion of month-end close procedures.
  • Act as a liaison for investment managers and professionals, providing financial guidance and support.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including quarterly financial statements and cash flow projections.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and payments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Reconcile stock dividends quarterly and maintain loan files, property tax files, and billing documentation.
  • Supervise and train accounting analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 4-6 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience required.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented.
