This role presents an outstanding opportunity for both new graduates and seasoned Nurse Practitioners to become part of a progressive organization that aims to transform wound care delivery and enhance access to high-quality treatment.

Position Details

This is a full-time salaried role with a Monday to Friday schedule, free from weekend, evening, on-call, or holiday shifts. The position requires daily local travel to patients' residences, with all mileage expenses reimbursed. Necessary equipment, medical supplies, and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients requiring wound care, utilizing advanced practice expertise.
  • Formulate and execute personalized care plans, ensuring continuity of care between visits.
  • Perform advanced treatments, including surgical debridement and UltraMIST therapy.
  • Manage medication prescriptions and provide clear guidance on their administration.
  • Educate nursing staff and maintain effective communication with primary care providers and families.
  • Contribute to the development of efficient practice management policies that enhance patient access to care.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exemplary patient care and adjusting approaches based on the developmental needs of the population served.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
  • A clinical background in adult, family, geriatric, podiatry, or vascular specialties.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as an advanced practice provider.
  • Board Certification/Preparation through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA.
  • Experience in wound care is advantageous.
  • National certification as ANP, FNP, or GNP is required or must be obtained.
  • Possession of a current, unrestricted license in the state of practice or ability to obtain one.
  • Capability to secure and maintain State DEA licensure/Prescriptive Authority where applicable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is preferred.
