JOB SUMMARY: The Wound Pros LLC is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide and manage advanced wound care for patients in various markets across Connecticut, focusing on those who are homebound or in long-term care facilities.
By harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence, we have enhanced our ability to heal wounds more efficiently.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with healthcare technologies, data, and software.
- Prior experience in cross-functional roles and team collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking, and time management.
- Technical aptitude with a quick learning curve and ability to teach others.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE:
- Become an expert in wound care, delivering exceptional patient experiences.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Program.
- Current valid state license to practice as an NP/PA.
- Prior wound care experience and/or certification.
- Board Certified with proof of certification.
- Willingness to travel for training.
- Patient-centric approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment.
- Sound understanding of federal and state regulations.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and full range of mobility.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams of patients.
- Select, order, and perform tests and procedures for optimal patient treatment.
- Perform wound care procedures as necessary according to Wound Pros' treatment protocols.
- Document patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Recommend prescriptions for medications and wound care dressings.
- Ensure patient satisfaction by upholding Wound Pros' standards of care.
- Provide patient education and management.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Perform debridement of wounds safely during patient visits.
- Apply topical wound care and other management products.
- Document findings and treatment courses in patient charts.
- Participate in departmental activities to enhance training methods and achieve company goals.
- Travel to patients' homes and/or long-term care facilities as required.
COMPENSATION: Total compensation potential of up to $165,000.00 per year, with significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
WORK LOCATION: As a mobile Clinical Provider, you will travel to treat patients who are homebound or in long-term care facilities.
