Job Summary

Pivot Interiors, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Asset Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Asset Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Inventory System: Ensure the AIMs system is up-to-date and accurate, including moves, adds, and deletes.
  • Perform Audits and Cycle Counting: Conduct regular audits and cycle counting functions to maintain database information accuracy.
  • Generate Reports: Create required reports at prescribed designated time frames to provide insights into inventory metrics.
  • Audit and Track Inventory Metrics: Analyze and track metrics in the areas of cost, quality, and timeliness to optimize inventory management.
  • Facilitate Communication: Facilitate communication meetings with stakeholders to discuss re-order, reduction, repair, and sale of customer inventory.
  • Track Inventory Movement: Facilitate and track the movement of inventory in and out of the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Communicate Solutions: Communicate solutions to requests for inventory in a timely manner to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with AIM Team: Facilitate interaction with the AIM team to meet client requirements and ensure seamless inventory management.
  • Develop Specification Tool Knowledge: Develop a clear understanding of specification tool usage to optimize inventory management.
  • Notify Warehouse Supervisor: Notify the Warehouse Supervisor of space needs to accommodate increases or decreases in customer inventory.
  • Manage Returned Products: Coordinate and manage the disposition of all returned products to the warehouse.
  • Manage Demo Chair Program: Maintain inventory in the AIM program and schedule delivery/pick up of chairs with clients.
  • Perform Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by senior warehouse personnel and senior management to support the team.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED plus bachelor's degree and up to 2-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training with contract office furniture systems.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field, as well as experience following instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Preferred Skills: Operations database experience and previous working experience with Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel are preferred.
