Overview

The Financial Operations Manager is tasked with formulating IQAir's financial strategies, protocols, oversight, and reporting frameworks. This role guarantees adherence to legal and regulatory standards across all financial reporting activities and supervises comprehensive financial operations including ERP oversight, accounting, budgeting, credit management, insurance, and taxation. This position demands significant expertise and discernment to achieve objectives effectively.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce IQAir's accounting standards, best practices, and operational procedures.
  • Safeguard assets by instituting and overseeing internal controls.
  • Oversee and manage various departments, including:
  • Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable, collections, corporate tax obligations, credit oversight.
  • Administer budgets and manage expenses prudently.
  • Supervise the creation of internal monthly financial reports and annual summaries; review account reconciliations and General Ledger activities.
  • Implement financial modeling techniques.
  • Coordinate and/or facilitate audits as necessary.
  • Manage inventory-related transactions to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Provide financial oversight for inventory and storage facilities to ensure proper transaction handling.
  • Report on the financial status of IQAir by analyzing and presenting key financial data and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by researching legislation, consulting with external advisors, and preparing financial documentation.
  • Guide Team Leaders and Members through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Identify and propose enhancements for productivity, customer service, and operational processes.
  • Establish and manage reporting metrics for key performance indicators in assigned departments.
  • Engage in additional projects as assigned.
Additional Requirements

Participation in professional development activities may be required to remain updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting at a senior level.
  • 5+ years of management and leadership experience.
  • Experience dealing with multiple currencies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems (NetSuite and Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus).
  • Membership in a relevant professional organization is beneficial.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment background checks.
