VitalCore Health Strategies seeks a skilled Healthcare Assistant Specialist to join our team in Massachusetts. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide critical support to medical staff and deliver exceptional patient care in a correctional facility setting.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $48,000 - $58,000, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes holiday pay, medical, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, pet insurance, Employee Assistance Program, 401K and plan matching, PTO, annual incentive bonus, and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account.

Job Responsibilities

You will assist physicians and nurses with clinical tasks, manage patient information, and perform various administrative duties. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • A minimum of one year's experience in emergency or correctional service
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant and completion of a medical assistant training program
  • Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology
