Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Daikin Applied. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining customer relationships, selling preventative maintenance contracts, and providing recommendations for service and repair work for HVAC systems.

About You
  • You have a strong background in sales with at least 3+ years of experience in the HVAC industry.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • You have a valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
About the Role
  • You will be responsible for meeting sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business.
  • You will partner closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the parts team, and our technicians to achieve sales objectives.
  • You will travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships, and follow up on customer concerns.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business.
  2. Partner closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the parts team, and our technicians.
  3. Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships, and follow up on customer concerns.
  4. Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations.
  5. Verify and quote prices, credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  6. Perform tests and conduct surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products.
  7. Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity, and business plans.
  8. Identify and implement tools and resources to assist in sales efforts.
