Job Title: Presentation Design Lead

We are seeking an experienced Presentation Design Lead to join our team at Studio Science. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating impactful presentations and brand marketing assets for our clients.

About the Role

The Presentation Design Lead will serve as the expert for all main stage keynotes, overseeing projects from initial planning and narrative development through slide creation and supporting on-site rehearsals. You will also oversee the creation of best-in-class brand marketing assets, including ebooks, display & social ads, whitepapers, videos, reports, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Translate and weave corporate vision, business concepts, product offerings, and company culture together into compelling narratives through presentations and other communication channels.
  • Manage individual workstreams and team members to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
  • Confidently use narrative arcs to shape presentations for heightened emotional impact.
  • Develop solutions and experiences that go beyond the obvious or accepted solution.
  • Build strong client relationships built on trust, serving as the expert on presentation design.
  • Engage with clients on a strategic level, providing rationale and guidance to VP to C-level roles, supporting all design decisions with appropriate creative and/or business reasoning.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, including the use of new technologies and emerging opportunities.
  • Communicate regularly about issues, team dynamics, workloads, new opportunities, etc.
  • Identify opportunities based on a deep understanding of the client's business objective(s); contributing to generating new business when necessary.
  • Contribute relevant thought leadership for marketing when necessary.
  • Engage with the broader design community to maintain a healthy creative network.
  • Evolve internal processes, ensuring efficiency and smarter work.
  • Travel (25%) to on-site workshops, rehearsals, and client events as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Portfolio of work that demonstrates strong conceptual and compositional skills applied to brand marketing and keynote presentations for large, enterprise, matrixed organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (experience with design thinking is preferred).
  • 12+ years experience in a design agency or within an internal marketing team; 6+ of which in presentation design for corporate events.
  • 5+ years experience leading a creative team and collaborating with external production partners (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of the interests, needs and concerns B2B and/or SaaS companies.
  • Exceptional client management skills and willingness to participate in business development.
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Apple Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Slides, including complex presentation animations.
  • Experience with video and animation projects as you will oversee videos and film-based storytelling projects.
  • Experience with AI creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.) desired.
  • Strong presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of continual iteration; address stressful situations with poise, understanding, and tact.
  • Capability to efficiently operate remotely and maintain a professional demeanor while working from a designated location within the United States.
  • Availability and flexibility to work with global clients across multiple time zones and for occasional travel to clients sites and Studio Science headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA for any employer without the need for sponsorship now or anytime in the future.
