Role Summary: As a Licensed Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience to tackle a range of assignments that require comprehensive engineering design skills. You will play a pivotal role in supervising, mentoring, and inspiring junior engineers, while embodying K2M's mission and core values. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert engineering consultation for the planning, design, and coordination of large-scale projects.
  • Act as a liaison among Project Management, Architects, Engineers, and consultants.
  • Undertake complex assignments that require innovative techniques and procedures.
  • Develop and articulate the lead technical perspective on projects.
  • Collaborate with the Director to determine appropriate technical solutions and strategies.
  • Guide and support less experienced staff through developmental training.
  • Utilize expertise to resolve conflicting design requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of deliverables.
  • Prepare reports and client communications related to assigned projects.
  • Engage in marketing and sales initiatives, including fee proposal development.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talent.
  • Contribute to the Strategic Plan for Engineering and monitor progress towards objectives.
  • Participate in leadership and operational meetings.
  • Encourage team members to achieve both organizational and personal objectives.
  • Facilitate quarterly performance discussions and contribute to annual review processes.
  • Travel for client meetings and site assessments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an accredited institution.
  • 15+ years of experience in AEC Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering License is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential.
