Primary Responsibilities:

  • Offers expert engineering consultation for the planning, design, and coordination of large-scale, intricate projects.
  • Serves as a liaison among Project Management, Architects, Engineers, and other consultants.
  • Undertakes complex assignments that require innovative techniques and methodologies.
  • Develops and articulates the primary technical perspective on projects.
  • Collaborates with the Director to determine suitable technical solutions and product strategies.
  • Facilitates activities and provides training support to less experienced staff.
  • Utilizes expertise to resolve conflicting design requirements.
  • Conducts quality assurance and quality control reviews of deliverables.
  • Prepares reports and correspondence for clients regarding assigned projects.
  • Engages in marketing and sales initiatives, including the evaluation and development of engineering fees for proposals.
  • Supports the recruitment and onboarding process for new engineering staff.
  • Contributes to the development of the Engineering Strategic Plan and monitors progress towards objectives.
  • Participates in leadership and sales meetings, as well as quarterly operational reviews.
  • Encourages team members to achieve both organizational and personal objectives.
  • Empowers team members to enhance their confidence, industry knowledge, and communication abilities.
  • Conducts quarterly performance discussions and contributes to the annual review process.
  • Travels for client meetings, consultant coordination, site surveys, and construction administration, with approximately 15% of time allocated for travel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 15+ years of experience in the AEC Engineering sector.
  • Professional Engineering License is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required.
  • This position is available only to candidates residing in EST and CST time zones.
