Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned B2B Sales Representative to join our team at SHS Payroll. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in Maryland, Virginia, and DC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and referrals.
  • Manage the outbound prospecting process by developing lists of potential prospects and transforming them into customers.
  • Develop and implement email and LinkedIn automation campaigns to engage with potential clients.
  • Analyze and qualify incoming leads to our website and from lead platform sources.
  • Initiate contact with new potential clients and schedule meetings between them and our sales executives.
  • Direct qualified leads to the sales team and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and positioning strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales within the email, marketing automation, or related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in B2B sales.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of advertising agency value adds - paid and organic media, search, social, email, programmatic, PR, production.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and ability to quickly scale pipeline.
