Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Quality Coordinator (Clinical Nurse Leader) to join our dedicated team in the Vascular/Telemetry Unit. This role is eligible for sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance.
This is a Full-Time position on the Day shift.
Overview:The Clinical Nurse Practice Specialist (CNPS) is a registered professional nurse with a master's degree, possessing advanced clinical knowledge and skills. This role is pivotal in supporting and enhancing the delivery of safe, culturally competent patient care across various populations, including:

The CNPS exemplifies advanced expertise in their specialty, serving as a resource for the healthcare team and advocating for evidence-based practices and performance improvements to enhance nursing science and patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:Shared Leadership:
- Engage in the Shared Leadership model to foster inquiry and positive change, encouraging nurse involvement in continuous process improvement.
- Develop interdisciplinary partnerships and provide clinical leadership in the design and standardization of treatment protocols.
- Advance nursing practice through innovative, evidence-based interventions and modifications of professional standards.
- Participate in the creation and revision of evidence-based guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Promote ethical professional practice and advocate for the role of nursing within the interdisciplinary team.
- Lead change initiatives and empower others to influence clinical practices and policies.
Teamwork:
- Encourage teamwork, integrity, and effective communication among staff.
- Act as a resource for staff and accept additional responsibilities to support nursing excellence.
- Collaborate with leadership and medical staff to evaluate and implement practice standards that enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide mentoring and support to promote the nursing profession and advance clinical practice.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Registered Nurse license and relevant certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience in a similar service line.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of nursing theory, evidence-based practice, and research.
