- Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies, including marketing of renewal business.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures.
- Review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
- Conduct loss and claim analysis and summaries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five years of commercial account management or underwriting experience required.
- Experience with marine insurance required.
- Property and casualty license required.
- CIC designation or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license and insurance required.
- Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Applied/Epic or similar agency management software experience preferred.
- Able to work independently and interact with team members.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and use discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
