Role Overview: The Operations department is crucial for managing materials and product distribution within a manufacturing or distribution setting. This encompasses warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, inventory oversight, and the planning of demand, supply, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Inventory/Purchasing team plays a vital role in maintaining supplier relationships at a tactical level by executing and expediting purchase orders. They ensure that the appropriate quantities of products are delivered to the correct locations at optimal times and costs. This includes negotiating product and supply chain expenses, leveraging supplier contract terms, collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance processes, and assessing supplier performance to improve the overall supply chain.

The Manager of Supply Chain Inventory/Purchasing oversees inventory and over-the-counter products, maintaining communication with sales teams, clients, distributors, and suppliers to negotiate and renew contracts. This role also involves managing data entry tasks and ensuring the integrity of databases related to products, suppliers, and pricing lists. Occasionally, this position supervises the registration of new products to ensure compliance with regulations. Furthermore, the Manager leads a team of professionals by establishing performance objectives, monitoring outcomes, developing skills, and fostering success.

Essential Duties:

Directs supply chain, warehouse, and sorting teams. Facilitates the implementation of new products, strategic initiatives, and manufacturing excellence projects. Engages with sourcing RFQs for supplier selection and cost analysis, accountable for PPV projects. Ensures accurate maintenance of systems master data and materials inventories. Proficient in analyzing demand, supply, capacities, and data sets. Creates and maintains documented processes for all key operational tasks related to Planning, Procurement, Sorting, and Warehouse operations, including Leadership Standard Work for the leadership team. Actively involved in analyzing collection volumes by device type, customer demographics, and transportation costs for returned devices. Coordinates with Global Transportation to optimize freight modalities for cost efficiency. Plans scheduling to meet net requirements, utilize capacities, and optimize process efficiency. Identifies, develops, and implements administrative and operational enhancements to standardize methodologies while eliminating non-value-added activities. Recommends and implements improvements to boost production, reduce waste, and create efficient operations. Implements cross-training to ensure operational continuity across all key functions/tasks. Ensures adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies. Possesses technical knowledge and skills in ERP systems. Ensures accurate forecasts are provided to functional groups for expected production, PPV impacts, and freight/collection costs. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Participates in required Supply Planning and Category Operating Unit meetings. Responsible for employee development, including training, coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.

Anticipated salary range: $85,100 - $127,680/year
