Responsibilities:
Ensure an effective loading process (order picking and truck loading) while minimizing damage.

The involved processes include picking from full case pick lines, selecting from the bottle room, and replenishing both full and split case areas promptly to ensure timely truck dispatch.

Report any damage to equipment, products, and facilities. Maintain equipment functionality by enforcing operating procedures, troubleshooting breakdowns, conducting preventative maintenance, and requesting repairs.

Notify about any product shortages or location discrepancies.

Organize the storage area and manage floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and recommend enhancements.

Ensure efficient unloading of trucks and receiving of products.

Aim to eliminate damage and ensure all products are accurately received into the system and placed in the correct warehouse locations.

Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations as well as OSHA standards.

Address work-related injuries and ensure that policies align with OSHA requirements.


Adhere to federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations while enforcing compliance and advising management on necessary actions.

Protect warehouse operations and contents by implementing and monitoring security protocols.

Directly supervise team members.

Execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable laws.


Achieve warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, evaluating job contributions, recommending compensation actions, and adhering to policies and procedures.

Additional duties, as assigned by the supervisor, may also be required.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent training and experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related business sector

Proficient in PC skills using MS Office and various software applications including presentation tools

Must be a results-driven professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating diplomacy and discretion, along with customer service abilities

Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently or as part of a team, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines

Analytical and reporting skills

Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment

Preferred

Qualifications:
3 years of experience in people management

Familiarity with systems related to logistics

Physical Requirements:


While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and forklift.

Occasionally lift up to 65 pounds.

Occasionally bend, reach, kneel, and squat.

Competencies:
May assist in coordinating the work of junior team members.

Resolves issues that are often varied and non-routine. Conducts analysis and investigation to address challenges.
